We are saddened to hear of the passing of Herve Filion, a member of the first class of inductees to the CHRHF in 1976 at the age of 36. At the time of his induction, the legendary horseman from Angers, QC, had already compiled nearly 6,000 wins. More than 30 years later that number had ballooned to just over 15,000, making him the winningest driver in the history of North American racing – a total that was nearly 3,000 more than his closest competitor.
Further details will be posted as they are available.
